Sandblasting
Abrasive blasting, commonly known as sandblasting, cleans and shapes a surface by forcing solid particles across the surface at high speeds. The effect is similar (but far more accurate and efficient) to using sandpaper. Sandblasting equipment typically consists of a chamber in which sand and air are mixed.
Our machinery fires high-powered jets of small abrasive particles through a hand-held nozzle with the help of an air pump, directing the particles toward the work surface. This is done to remove contaminants such as paint, grime, rust, adhesives, oils, and other imperfections from the surface of your product in order to provide an optimal surface for the powder to adhere to. Sandblasting can also be used to smooth a rough surface, roughen a smooth surface, or shape a surface.
